For the past few weeks the Prime Healthcare Pennsylvania Region hospitals Lower Bucks Hospital, Roxborough Memorial Hospital and Suburban Community Hospital had the wonderful opportunity to tell their story about the COVID-19 Pandemic. Thank you to Philadelphia Inquirer Staff Writer, Wendy Ruderman and Staff Photographer, Jessica Griffin, who highlighted the valiant efforts of our frontline workers.
Stop the spread of COVID-19: wear a mask, practice physical distancing and wash hands frequently. Following these guidelines is essential to helping to stop the spread of the virus.
Winter face coverings are not substitutes for masks. #COVID19 #InPrimeHealth

Prime Healthcare wears #pink for #breastcancerawareness. Family history can play a part in your risk for breast cancer. Talk to your relatives and complete a family medical history. This information is valuable for helping you understand your risk for breast cancer and other diseases. Make sure to keep this information updated and discuss it with your healthcare providers so they can recommend screenings and tests that are appropriate for you. #inprimehealth

The team at Prime Healthcare encourages you to get your flu shot! It’s even more important to be vaccinated this year to help prevent flu and preserve healthcare resources during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to getting your flu shot, continue to practice the 3Ws: WEAR your mask, WASH your hands, and WATCH your distance. #getyourflushot #inprimehealth
Prime Healthcare wears #pink for #breastcancerawareness. Breast cancer screening means checking the breasts for cancer before there are signs or symptoms of the disease. Screenings can help find breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat. Breast cancer screening tests include: mammograms and breast MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) exams, clinical breast exams and breast self-exams. Talk to your healthcare provider about your options for screening and when you should have them. #pinktober #inprimehealth
This Infection Prevention Week, Prime Healthcare applauds our infection prevention teams across the country for providing leadership and expertise during the COVID-19 pandemic. Infection preventionists work across various hospital areas to understand the spread of disease and combat its occurrence. They study the hospital environment and conduct lab work to recognize trends and put protocols in place to ensure that patients, visitors and fellow healthcare workers thrive in a safe environment. Infection Preventionists are liaisons with public health agencies to help identify and respond effectively to community outbreaks and plan for public health emergencies. Thank you to our amazing infection prevention teams for your dedication to our communities, especially during this critical time.
Prime Healthcare is asking our communities to remember the 3Ws as we continue to flatten the curve and slow the spread of COVID-19. WEAR a mask. WATCH your distance. WASH your hands. The 3Ws can significantly reduce your risk of getting COVID-19 and help keep loved ones safe. #inprimehealth
Flashback to last year when members of the Prime Healthcare corporate team formed a human pink ribbon for #breastcancerawareness month! Due to COVID, we won't be posing together, but we remain united in our support of those who are affected by breast cancer. #checkyourself #pinktober #inprimehealth
Prime Healthcare wears pink for #breastcancerawareness. 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer. #checkyourself every month by performing a breast self-exam. Remember to schedule a yearly mammogram and talk with your healthcare provider about your risk factors for breast cancer. Early detection saves lives! #pinktober
FRIDAY FITNESS TIP: Do you warm up before exercising? Warming up helps your muscles prepare for more intense physical activity. Warming up your muscles helps them absorb more oxygen and increases blood flow, which helps lessen your risk of injury. Common warm up exercises include: jumping jacks, jumping rope, walking/slow jog, ankle circles, and torso twists. Take five-10 minutes to warm up before your workouts to enhance the health benefits. #inprimehealth
With so much going on it’s normal to feel stressed, anxious, or sad. Today, on 10/15, take 10-15 minutes to do something to care for yourself. #HowRightNow #inprimehealth
