We are moving on to our final efforts, the restoration of the quadrangle garden, the renovation of the museum to preserve priceless artifacts, and the interpretation of important archaeological destinations on the mission grounds. The work has started in the garden which includes repairing and restoring the fountain, installing new lighting for more safety for overnight guests, planting low maintenance drought-tolerant plants and preserving our famous roses.

Due to a Shelter-in-Place Order by Monterey County, Mission San Antonio is CLOSED until further notice. This also meant the annual Mission Days fundraising event that was scheduled for this past weekend was cancelled. The funds raised at this annual event represent a critical part of the Mission’s daily operating budget. If you can please help by sending a donation to help the Mission recover from the cancellation of this event. Stay safe and stay well!
