We must accept infinite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope When a granddaughter comes to visit her grandfather for his 100th birthday and she turns to you and loudly yells through the glass - I’m so thankful. I don’t know if I’ll ever get to touch him again It’s moments like these, that remind me how much our world has changed. How families cant freely come through our doors and physically touch the people who shaped their lives, helped raise th...em and gave them the values they have today as an adults. Social isolation is REAL! It was something we always kept an eye on before the quarantine but now has become very prevelant. Making sure everyone is 6 feet away from one another yet getting their psycho-social needs met is so difficult. Shout out to our amazing Activites crew for keeping our patients from going crazy out of boredom! We love our patients and their families. We are always here to assist in a visit - as always our #1 goal is for the outcome of our patients, physically AND emotionally. Happy Friday

We had an amazing week at Premier Care Center. This week was all about building morale with the clinical and non clinical teams within our walls. We celebrated nurses week & nursing home week together Those who work in skilled nursing facilities are truly at the #frontlines right now and it’s important for our staff to know how much we appreciate all they do for us!... We had a spirit week where we dressed up, spoiled our staff and just told them how appreciative we are for their service!! We had a Carl's Jr. truck come out and give Famous Star combos to the entire staff! Thanks to Frugos Yucaipa for donating Fro-Yo! This morning dept. heads came in early to show our appreciation for our awesome NOC shift crew! We served THEM - A BIG BREAKFAST We love our NOC & early AM shifts and sometimes aren’t here for the celebrations in the building. ... I personally worked NOC shift as a CNA and Nurse for many years before the position I’m in now, and have a personal appreciation for the time and effort they put into our building. Those who work NOC shift usually do because they are in school during the day, have a family and do it for childcare purposes or work another job.
