The IRS has now updated our software to amend taxes with Unemployment. $10,200 are now non taxed. Please call our office to schedule an appointment for amendments or we can do over the phone. Update as of this morning from the IRS Taxpayers that are not required to file will be able to do so online with a zero return and add their bank account information. Again, SSA Recipients will automatically receive their stimulus in the same form they receive their monthly disbursements.

UPDATE FROM IRS FOR SSA RECIPIENTS The IRS will use the information on the form SSA-1099 and Form RRB-1099 to generate $1,200 Economic Impact Payment’s to Social Security recipients who did not file tax returns in 2018 and 2019. Recipients will receive these payments as a direct deposit or by paper check, just as they would normally receive their benefits.

On Monday March 30, the IRS indicated that those who normally aren’t required to file taxes will need to file a simple tax return in order to get a stimulus payment. THIS INCLUDES SOCIAL SECURITY RECIPIENTS!!! Reach out to us so we can get you filed and you won’t miss out on the stimulus check.
