Today we read from page 234 to page 270 in Katherine Applegate's The One and Only Ivan. When we started reading, Ivan and Ruby were not sure if the protesters were going to do any good. By the end of our reading today, Ruby disappeared into box and Ivan was in a new cage. What do you think will be behind the wooden curtain that Maya was just about to move when the chapter ended? Do you think Ivan will ever see Ruby again? What will happen to Bob? Tune in next Thursday at 4pm for our final installment of this great Battle Book.
