Hello friends! I head from Lori that the boys had an AMAZING Christmas. They felt so loved and so supported. This community here contributed to making that happen.Thank you! I'd imagine that some of you feel a bit removed from the Schenkenberger family and perhaps disconnect from their needs and miss how much your support means to them. Lori and the boys feel your love and support with every donation. Again, thank you! ... The calendar has been updated through the middle of February. It seems that the later weeks get the least attention. If you feel up for the challenge, perhaps you would consider signing up for something now and another date in February? That way we can hopefully fill up all the donation slots and fully support the Schenkenberger's in these next five weeks. 5 more days until Steve is done with his IV antibiotics and gets to come back home from the hospital!

Your prayers are working!!! Last night the drs. did an MRI of Steve's brain to see if any infection has transferred from his nasal cavity to his brain. Great news, they did not see any infection up in his brain cavity! Plus, the air pocket around his brain is decreasing! And the surgical repair to the hole in his skull is still closed!!! The drs. think Steve is stable/healthy enough to be moved out of ICU to a step down floor In the hospital! Keep the prayers coming! St...eve is passing kidney stones! Noooooooo! Pray that he can get a procedure to break up the stones to pass them easier and he's not in anymore pain!! I'm concerned the pain/pressure he is experiencing from passing stones, is not good for the surgery site. The last thing he needs is the hole reopening. Pray that the drs. believe Steve is stable/healthy enough to have a laser procedure to eradicate the kidney stones. Also, pray that they will get the stone that is stuck in his kidney pocket reproducing these stones. (This would be his third procedure to try and get rid of them.) And pray that he won't have anymore kidney stones! EVER! Thanks!!! {Bubble-Wrap-Attack} I'm back in Redding with these cuties!
