Proud new yellow belt! MJ spent 7 months as a white belt diligently working on his basics. He was never concerned about earning his next belt, just kept his head down and worked hard in class. His attitude and efforts paid off as he went through the yellow belt white stripe rank in less than a month. Keep up the good work MJ!

Congratulations Emmitt on your new green belt! We are all extremely proud of his attitude, work ethic and resilience. Like all of us Emmitt would have preferred to be in class instead of on a livestream but he didn't let that stop him. He kept logging in, moving forward and showing us all how to be like water. In the fall we are thinking of offering 3 hour camps that would consist of four 40 minute classes (Art, Karate, Supported Study & Movement Skills). The supported study class would be for students to work on their homework with the support of a teacher. The camp would be the same structure of our mini-camps. 2 groups of no more than 8 students that would be kept separate, use separate bathrooms and transition between rooms separately. Students would wear a mask for ar...t & supported study and sit spaced 6 feet apart. For karate & movement skills students would be spaced 12 feet apart and can take off their mask once in their designated training area. Students would have to sign up for the full week to limit exposure. Single days would not be available. We are thinking of having these camps from 12-3pm but are flexible on the time. The governor has ordered all indoor fitness centers to close again. We will keep you updated on when we will be allowed to open again. During this time we will continue to work on improving our livestream classes. #practicalkarate #karatekids
