Mirah Shave Oil for Gua Sha Many of us have found that Mirah Shave Oil gunks up our razors when used for shaving so we've found other uses for this awesome product. We already know that Mirah Shave Oil is great as a makeup remover, too, AND I've been using it as the oil for my Gua Sha routine.... To use with your Gua Sha stone, just put 2-3 squirts on your fingers, gently pat fingers together, then pat onto your face, neck, and decolletage. Then use your Gua Sha stone to get those toxins out! I also use Mirah Shave oil as the oil for my Gua Sha routine for other body areas such as my feet and legs. I use every other day - No breakouts even though my skin tends to be oily and prone to breakouts. It leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and the scent is heavenly! How do you Gua Sha??? #GuaSha #MirahShaveOil #GuaShaStone #KickOutTheToxins

DIY: Clean & Nourish Dish Soap _____ Wash dishes naturally and avoid dry skin! ... The essential oils in this blend are known to send germs packing, and the castile soap is an excellent cleaner. The essential oils in this blend can also support immunity, which means that instead of exposing yourself to potentially toxic chemicals that your body isn’t sure what to do with (and which can compromise your immunity), you’re actually supporting your health. This dish soap is super gentle on skin not as harsh or drying as you might find in many commercial dish washing soaps. I think you’ll use up your homemade dish soap quickly, but just in case, I suggest making a fresh bottle every few weeks (since there are no preservatives in it). _____ Ingredients: 6 oz castile soap 1 oz (30 ml) Lavender hydrosol (Lavandula angustifolia) I get mine from Aromatics International 12 drops Lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia) 8 drops Australian Ericifolia essential oil (Melaleuca ericifolia) 8 drops Tea Tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) How to Make: Make this dish soap in an 8 oz plastic squeeze bottle. Pour the castile soap and hydrosol into the bottle, and then add the essential oils. Shake before each use, then use a generous squirt to wash your dishes. _____ #CleanAndNourishDishSoap #DishSoap #LavenderEssentialOil #LavenderHydrosol #AustralianEricifoliaEssentialOil #TeaTreeEssentialOil #EssentialOilDIY #DIYWithEssentialOils #EssentialOilDishSoap #EssentialOilsForTheKitchen #WashThoseDishes #ProtectYourHands

DIY: Myrrh & Vanilla Hand Oil _____ Keeping your hands clean and healthy is about more than just hand washing. It’s really a 2-step process: 1. Washing your hands often with gentle soap and water... 2. Moisturizing your hands to nurture and protect your skin Step 2: Moisturize Your Hands! Moisturizing our hands helps us to stay comfortable and even more protected than with handwashing alone. The great thing about making your own moisturizer is, you can customize it! Do you like light, silky lotions? Or heavier butters? Or even a thick, firm salve? Choose what’s right for your skin. The essential oils you choose to add will give you different effects. Add oils to reduce germs even further, to nourish your skin, or to calm your heart during stressful times. Your custom moisturizer can become a good friend during these times! I’ll give you a recipe here for one option. Myrrh, like other essential oil distilled from resins, is deeply nourishing and protective of skin, while helping to reduce germs. The aroma of Myrrh combined with warm vanilla is also comforting! _____ Ingredients: 1 oz (30 ml) Vanilla-infused jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) I buy mine from Aromatics International 12 drops Myrrh essential oil (Commiphora myrrha) How to Make: Add your ingredients into a 1 oz (30 ml) glass or PET bottle then cap and shake. Now, you’re ready to moisturize! _____ #MyrrhAndVanillaHandOil #HandOil #MyrrhEssentialOil #VanillaInfusedJojobaOil #EssentialOilDIY #DIYWithEssentialOils #EssentialOilHandOil #MoisturizeYourHands

DIY: Lavender Pine Foaming Hand Soap _____ Keeping your hands clean and healthy is about more than just hand washing. It’s really a 2-step process: 1. Washing your hands often with gentle soap and water... 2. Moisturizing your hands to nurture and protect your skin Step 1: Wash Your Hands! You don’t need to use hospital-grade germicidal soap to keep your hands clean in your home! Plain soap and water are very effective! However, even basic store-bought soap can be rough on your hands if you’re washing many times a day. Making your own foaming hand soap is effective, fun, and gentle. I like foam hand soaps made of liquid castile soap. The castile soap I use is a very gentle recipe from Aromatics International. And adding jojoba makes this soap extra moisturizing and protective. The soap itself does a great job of washing contaminants off your hands, and the essential oils add even more germ-reducing effects, and skin-friendly benefits. _____ Ingredients: 120 ml Castile soap 15 ml Jojoba wax (Simmondsia chinensis) 30 drops Lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia) 24 drops Pine essential oil (Pinus sylvestris) 15 drops Patchouli essential oil (Pogostemon cablin) How to Make: Make this blend in a 250 ml foam soap bottle. The castile soap and jojoba won’t fill it all the way up so as to leave room for the foam pump. Combine the castile soap and jojoba in the bottle and add the essential oils. Tighten the lid and shake gently. ***** Now, let’s make a kid-friendly version. Little hands like to touch everything, but children’s skin tends to be very sensitive. We’ll keep the amounts of castile soap and jojoba the same, and simply lower the essential oil drop counts to: 9 drops Lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia) 9 drops Pine essential oil (Pinus sylvestris) 3 drops Patchouli essential oil (Pogostemon cablin) _____ #LavenderPineFoamingHandSoap #FoamingHandSoap #LavenderEssentialOil #PineEssentialOil #PatchouliEssentialOil #EssentialOilDIY #DIYWithEssentialOils #EssentialOilFoamingHandSoap #WashYourHands

DIY: Lemon Spruce Bathroom Scrub 1 cup baking soda 3 Tbsp castile soap 1 tsp white vinegar... 20 drops Lemon (Citrus limon) 20 drops Northern Lights Black Spruce (Picea mariana) How to Make it: You’ll need a container that holds at least 1 cup. I suggest using one that holds a little more, so you have room to mix it up without spilling over the edges. Mix the baking soda, castile soap, and white vinegar together. Use a spoon to mix it all together. You’ll end up with a thick paste. If you want your scrub to be a little thinner, you can add more castile soap. For a scrub that’s more solid and moldable, add a bit more baking soda. When it’s time to clean your bathroom, sprinkle some of the scrub on your surfaces and use a sponge to scrub away. You can save this blend in a container with a lid. If it gets too hard in a few weeks, just add more castile soap. _____ #LemonSpruceBathroomScrub #BathroomScrub #LemonEssentialOil #NorthernLightsBlackSpruceEssentialOil #EssentialOilDIY #DIYWithEssentialOils #EssentialOilBathroomScrub
