Today is a day to appreciate those moms whom we have caught just some glimpses of what they do and have done for us. It is also a time to acknowledge our own journeys and at what point in our lives we stepped onto the path of motherhood. As my children have recently entered into adulthood I can reflect back on many moments that included joys, selflessness, frustrations, laughs and love. In some ways the road to my black belt felt similar: I may have wanted to give up a few times but kept going and found the times of recovery I needed along with the amazing relationships built along the way. All superheroes need their team around them! Power of one Lakewood is honored to be part of your community team and support network! Keep up the great work, Moms!!
