Money that you donate goes directly toward student and teacher requests that greatly enhance and improve our students leaning experience. Usually, Registration is where we get the bulk of our donations, but this year traditional Registration is not happening. Please consider finding our table this week and making a donation for our kids! The COVID crisis has changed our learning environment. Because of that, now more than ever, the teachers and departments need financial assistance for things like tripods or ring lighting so that they can create a better online viewing experience for our children. Hello everyone- The Poway High Foundation is asking for your help supplementing the graduation costs for the Class of 2020. Due to the COVID crisis and subsequent school closures, the Class of 2020 has had a tough Senior year. In order to celebrate our Seniors, Poway High School will have a unique drive thru graduation ceremony at the traditional end of school year date and then a later, in person ceremony at the end of July 2020 when it is safe to celebrate together. ... These two graduation ceremonies - the three-day drive thru graduation (which will be live streamed to everyone with access) and the standard Graduation ceremony at the end of July 2020 will have a higher than normal total cost. Your donation helps supplement the additional costs of the ceremonies and helps defray the yearbook and cap and gown costs for those who cannot afford them in this economic climate.
