Resurrection Sunday; Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

THE CROSS OF CHRIST and the Redeemed; From the sand box of time... INTRODUCTION It is ironic that out of something as well-known and full of sufferings as was t...he crossas it is written, Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: see (Deu. 21:23). Should come the Good News, the Gospel of Christ, The redemption of all mankind. The low point of human history was on a hill, a hill called Calvary (Skull) (Luke 23:33 Calvary, there they crucified him). On that Cross, sinful people (Adams) killed the innocent, sinless Son of God the creator of all that is.. And the Word became flesh;; On that hill, Roman soldiers granted the heartless demands of the Jewish people whose murderous cries rumbled through the narrow streets of Jerusalem: Crucify him! Crucify him! they said, and the Satanic forces of Hell assembled to destroy the Savior the Messiah of mankind. On that Cross, the greatest manifestation of (Agape) love the world will ever know was demonstrated, The Son of God.. On that Cross. It was a love surpassing the combined love of all mothers of all time. 1Jn 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us. On that Cross, the greatest weight ever placed on anyone anytime fell upon the suffering Immanuel (Isa.53). he was wounded for our transgressions. On that Cross, a dismal darkness descended, The Messiah (the Anointed one) God; was separated from the Father in darkness for three hours, but from that darkness came a light, a life-giving living light, to bring hope to all people in despaira light to those caught in the slavery of sin, a light of salvation to those lost, a power of Redemption that only a GOD could give, and a light that shines to the perfect day (Pro. 4:18). At a place called Calvary, On a cruel, heartless tree, Jesus the Christ died for you and me. Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: Isa 59:20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. the belief (faith) of Israel. Eph 1:7 In whom we have been redeemed through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Rom 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; The sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, as the Blood atonement made, and the price paid down redeemed bought us off, paid the price,(death on the cross) from our former bondage (Gal_4:5), and from the curse under which all lie who trust to the law and the works of the law for justification. The Gentile Galatians, by putting themselves under the law, were involving themselves in the curse from which Christ has redeemed the Jews primarily, and through them the Gentiles. The ransom price He paid was His own precious blood (1Pe_1:18, 1Pe_1:19; compare Mat_20:28; Act_20:28; 1Co_6:20; 1Co_7:23; 1Ti_2:6; 2Pe_2:1; Rev_5:9). Shalom in Jesus......
