Historic Brick Building Needs a Home ! This 100 year old building on 23rd St was the gatehouse for the Potrero Power Station. It's likely to be torn down in the Spring unless a home for it and funds to move it are found. It would make a great cafe if, as shown here, it was moved to Warm Water Cove Park nearby on 24th St. The park badly needs to be redeveloped and will become an even more valuable asset when homes & offices are built at the Power Station. Another possible home for the gatehouse would be the parking lot on the water across 23rd St from its present location. It's 27' wide X 20' deep X 17' 8" high. Do you have other ideas for a home in Dogpatch, SF, for this historic building?

Please sign our petition asking the developer to restore or adaptively reuse several historic brick buildings at the Potrero Power Station site, 23rd St and the bay. They are all that's left of what was once an impressive cluster of industrial buildings. They may be destroyed. Pier 70 nearby has brilliantly repurposed its historic buildings; the Potrero Power Station should do the same. https://www.change.org/p/sf-planning-dept-save-the-historic
