May is Mental Health Awareness Month. If you are suffering, know you are not alone and help is available. We have teen self-care kits available at the library*. Each kit includes coloring pages and pencils, a mindfulness journal, scratch 'n sniff bookmarks, a book list, and mental health resources. *These kits are available for teens in 6th-12th grade while supplies last. AND we have "Find Your Anchor" boxes that you can share with a loved one that needs some extra TLC. Find Your Anchor is a grassroots movement aimed at suicide prevention, awareness and education.

Our STEM packet pick-up will resume the first week of June. Come check-out these STEAM kits.

STEM-gram: Rock Painting (pick-up through 1/15) Literacy Tip: Nonfiction books give children a chance to learn new concepts and vocabulary, as well as broaden their view of the world. Take a "book walk" with a nonfiction book.
