Let me re introduce myself to any new faces around here :) I’m Adriana aka Polarbearbooty I named my online coaching biz Polarbearbooty because I adore them and booty, because that something we also build here! ... We BUILD - Long Lasting Habits - Strong Powerful Bodies - Resilient Mind Sets -Vibrant Lifestyles I’ve studied and experimented with nutrition, the psychology around mindset and fitness for over 10 years. I’ve been a certified health & nutrition coach for over 6 years now. I was once 50+ lbs overweight, severely depressed and simply lost... I’ve built my dream body & vibrant lifestyle from scratch. I NEVER had ( good genetics ). I’m proud to say that I’ve also helped hundreds of badass, successful women achieve the same! From feeling miserable and trapped in their own bodies... To feeling amazing, strong & powerful in their bodies and self. Transforming their lifestyle into a more vibrant, happier & empowering one! Your Mindset will affect your Success. If your Mindset & Perspective is not in the right place. I'm sorry to tell my but your whole fitness/ fat loss journey & life goals will NOT succeed or won’t last very long. ... I know it’s hard to get out of that negative self draining place... I’ve been there too. BUT, you can change it. You just have to practice it. This is why I’ve studied and continue to study this topic for years, endless researching and coaching about mindset to my clients and myself. Because it’s the most important thing that will determine your success & results not only in your fitness & fat loss journey BUT in your WHOLE LIFE. You have the power to change your perspective about EVERYTHING. You essentially have the power to control the way you react & feel to ANY situation that life throws at you. Happy Saturday Some of my favorite things I enjoy to do on the weekend to decompress & prepare for my upcoming week are these... 1. Bike ... it’s so fun, relaxing and a great active recovery workout, and you get to see more things around the city! 2. Hike! Go outside Being in nature, feeling the sun is such a underrated stress reliever in my opinion, every time I’m feeling like a had a really long week I always like to get a nice hike in and it helps so much! 3. Clean Time Doing laundry, cleaning the house on the weekend is something that helps me start my week on the right foot and also relieves my anxiety. Having a clean environment and laundry ready for the week, helps you minimize tasks during your week so you can prioritize the more important ones! 4. Meal Prep / Grocery Shopping This one is SUPER important for me, it will dictate my nutrition success for the week. I usually cook a bunch of chicken, boil eggs, cut some fruit and veggies ready to go for my week! It’s not your lack of will power it’s your lack of strategic planning. If you want to eat healthy on your week you NEED to prepare it before it even starts! 5. Do things that make you happy! On the weekends I try to prioritize hobbies and things that make me happy that I am not able to do during my week like, draw, do art, read for longer amounts of time, try a new yoga class, go to the beach, maybe try a new recipe! I hope you have a great weekend and you use any of these ideas for yourself!

How i’ve been feeling after this week. Wow coming back from the holidays and working out again has made me REAL HUMBLE this week. It kicked my ass Was I sore intensely? Yes ... Was I struggling to keep the pace & finish the workout? Yes. It happens to everyone! Not every day, week is gonna be full of AMAZING workouts but the KEY is to do it anyways, show up anyways, do a 20 Min workout at least, go for a walk. Starting over can be hard Working out is hard Pushing yourself is hard Investing in your health & self. But wanna know what’s even HARDER? Being overweight. Being unhealthy Having to live with a body and self that you are not STOKED about is HARDER. Not having self love & confidence is HARDER. Those are some things I like to think about when I don’t want to workout, when I don’t feel like pushing myself on the workout. It’s the true. Being honest with yourself is a necessary tool you have to use when you see yourself slacking on your goals.

At the beginning of every month I have call assessments with my clients, the last few weeks have been daily calls with them and I feel SO SO HAPPY. I’m going to share just some of the WINS my clients told me about their holiday season! I didn’t feel like I had to binge or go crazy on the holidays! I felt I made balanced choices! ... I know what’s on my plate now!! I know how to identify a carb, fat & protein and it allows me to create balanced meals that make me feel good and not bloated or sluggish! I realized how shitty junk food makes me feel mentally & physically. I now truly believe that food can be healing! I got so many compliments from my family and friends! if it wasn’t for your program and all the progress I’ve made I would have never felt confident to try skying for the first time! I enjoyed the holidays and still lost 4lbs!

Client Progress This is a perfect example of BODY RECOMPOSITION!... My client has lost 0 pounds on the scale but obviously has lost inches off her body as you can see on the progress pictures! She has also gained muscle definition! This is why measuring progress by different methods is essential! I’m super proud of this lady and can’t wait all the amazing progress we will continue to achieve together!

Let’s talk about goals, you hear that word probably a lot. How to choose your goals? Choose the kind of goals that will make you a better person in the process of achieving them or when you achieve them.... Always ask yourself what will this goal make of me? How will this change me in the PROCESS? I’ll give you a example using one of my goals this year! Goal: I want to complete a triathlon. Will this goal make me a better person in the process? Absolutely. How? - It will teach me discipline. - It will get me out of my comfort zone by forcing me to train consistently on swimming which I haven’t really trained consistently in a long time. - It will improve my cardiovascular fitness!
