PLHS New Principal Selection! The school community plays a vital role in the selection of our next PLHS principal. This process includes engaging the Point Loma staff, students and parents/guardians in sharing the experience, skills and qualities they would like to see in our next leader. Parents are invited to share input and participate in this process by submitting the Leadership Input Survey, due TODAY, June 15th! See https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSdwJrzDws3pfIE9fD/viewform to complete the survey.
The Point Loma High School Class of 2020 Car Parade is THIS Tuesday, June 9th at 2:20pm on Shelter Island. The Point Loma/OB community is welcome and encouraged to attend! Friends, families, PL/cluster school staff, alumni and neighbors will gather along Shelter Island Drive (social distanced) and cheer on our 2020 seniors as they drive the route in cars. Please see the map - parking lots are open! Help us spread the word to anyone you think might be interested in attending. Thank you for your enthusiastic support of the Class of 2020! We are still hopeful there will be a physical commencement ceremony at PLHS in early August, where diplomas will be handed out. This parade is to celebrate the Class of 2020 and commemorate the end of the year.

Tonight! Start Smart at 6pm in PAC! Do you have a new driver in the house? Or will you have one soon? This is a FREE program through the CHP to help new drivers (ages 15-19) and their parents become "more aware of the responsibilities that accompany the privilege of being a licensed California driver." Note, at least one parent must accompany each student. If you plan to attend, please email Amy Denney at [email protected] to reserve a spot for you and your teen driver.
