Poet Laureate Park is on the move and touring the land. Well, it is doing the touring via displays of installation day photos, completed sculpture photos, and events like the Children's Day Event and visits by poets like Yuyutsu Sharma and others. You can view the display during the month of April at Arcade Library on Marconi in Sacramento. The poems of Viola Weinberg, Dennis Schmitz, Jose Montoya, Julia Connor, Bob Stanley, and Jeff Knorr are also included (these are th...e full poems excerpted for the sculptures). Also, a news article about Poet Laureate Park is on display. Enjoy your visit, check out the rose garden, and stop by Ms. T's Good to Go Cafe for some delicious handcrafted baked goods.
