Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! Dr. King gave a speech, "Remaining Awake Through a Great Revolution," from which this quote is taken, in our Golden Gymnasium in 1964 while he was traveling the country promoting the National Civil Rights Act. This article in The Journal of San Diego History describes King's visit to campus: https://sandiegohistory.org//cusp-american-civil-rights-r/
The Main Computer Lab is open for computer use and printing daily from 9AM - 11PM during J-Term. Access through the side doors on the South side of the building. The Library remains closed due to Covid-19 restrictions, but our services and collections are still available to you.
As an onslaught of misleading content infiltrates our news feeds, it is vital that we all become more discerning consumers of information & news. Check out our Media Literacy Toolkit for tips on how identify and prevent the spread of false information: https://bit.ly/2MNqIy0.
