2 bills honor families in CA workplaces : AB 1041 would add Chosen Family to paid family leave laws to include LGBTQ+ people and multi-generational homes. AB 1119 would outlaw discrimination against employees due to family responsibilities, prohibit disparate treatment based on assumptions or stereotypes associated with family caregiving....
