Hello PJAA Baseball Family. Coach Kenny here, long time supporter and board member to PJAA.. I wanted to encourage all the moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandma's/grandpa's, cousins, and loved ones supporters of our precious youth baseball league and all the players, that baseball WILL return eventually, and to be sure to make every effort once the league is allowed, to get your youth in, to keep the tradition of baseball going in our city. Youth baseball is one great memory ma...ker! Praying for you all! God bless PJAA God bless YOU and your family. God bless the appreciation we will soon have to watch our loved ones swing at a ball, run, throw etc! RIGHT! and i have seen posts regarding refunds etc.. Sergio is a good man and will take care of every one, be patient.

Good morning baseball family. As we (as a nation) are going back to live our normal life (we’ll never be the same), we’re starting to regroup on sports as well. Too many questions are popping up. The main one is: when will we start baseball? That’s a great question and I tell you, we’re still waiting on the city to give us some guidance with specific dates. All sports representatives are meeting with the city sometime next week to find out the answer to these important qu...estions. PJAA will play its entire season as soon as we get the ok. We will keep you posted with important news as we get it. Another question is regarding refunds for the ones that can’t participate during summer. PJAA will refund fees except the uniform fees. We already received the uniforms from the vendor and already paid for them. Each player will get their uniform instead of the money. Any other fees will be refunded. Thanks to Luis Bautista for the update: Parents here is an update from the parks and community services Director: Good Evening Youth League Presidents:... We continue to remain under restrictions based on the LA County Health Department's Public Health Order. We are hoping to get an official update tomorrow after the County Health Officer created a stir today by indicating the Safer at Home order will remain in place through July and August. Tomorrow will hopefully give us a better idea of what that will translate into with regard to the 5 stages of re-opening. They have us entering Stage 2 which still restricts usage of park space for group activities. As soon as we get clarity about re-opening elements of the parks in Stage 3 and 4 and a timeline for that, we will be in contact with you about the options for playing youth sports again. We all hope that the fall will be a possibility for youth leagues to begin playing again. If that happens, please understand that all leagues (baseball, softball, soccer, and football) will be vying for field space. We will work to accommodate all leagues but with no guarantee that everyone will get everything they want. Lastly, as soon as we are allowed to meet in person again, we will be scheduling meetings with each league to discuss moving forward with the Program Partner Agreement. #WeAreParamount David
