These cuties just celebrated six months of wedded bliss! - Cheers to the two of you ! May your journey together bring you joy, a warm and safe place to retreat to when life gets tough, and laughter, lots and lots of laughter.

One the sweetest families and raddest photogs I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. Ryan was our wedding photographer over a decade ago and man, when he asked me to photograph his family portraits my initial reaction was +. But they were FUN y’all. We caught up, we laughed, we shared stories, and I was charmed to bits by their three kind hearted kids. Ryan and Angie are just this magical team. They made my nervousness melt away immediately. Cheers to doing things that make you nervous and push you out of the warm confines of your comfort zone because that’s where good stuff happens.

Being a family means you are part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life.

Never underestimate the elegant beauty of black and white. Calm expressions on kids are my favorite. I love the smiles, but for me the calm expressions are far more emotive.

It’s Monday and I’m trying to embrace it. Anyone else feel that way about Mondays? It’s a new week. An opportunity to start fresh. Jot down all the things I have to do and goals I want to accomplish. One of them is upping my senior influencer game with the #seniorologiespokesmodelacademy Nothing like a little education, inspiration and positive mindset to start the week.

This is what 60 years of marriage looks like and they’re still very much in love . When I asked what their secret was, it only took one word: respect. Have mutual respect for one another. So simple yet so effective.

Who is in the thick of college applications???? So much writing. So much stress. So much excitement. You got this! Think of it as one bit of normalcy in an otherwise abnormal year. I don’t know about you, but everyone our house is craving some normalcy right about now, even if it is college applications!

Whew! It has been a month! I haven’t been posting much, but I have been editing a up storm. The laptop was a much needed purchase so I can finally sit in the same room with my hubby while I edit. I’m sure he grew tired staring at the back of my head . To everyone who has booked a session this fall (and this year!) I am so grateful for you. I have been far busier than I ever anticipated. It brings me joy and fulfillment to watch my little business grow . I have a few more weekend evening sessions available for November, but they are quickly filling up. There are so many sessions and photos that I want to share here on my feed. New families and seniors I have met and some familiar faces that I have the joy of photographing year after year.
