Excited to show you all what's been keeping me so busy the last couple weeks. Here's a peak at a collab with Charm of Three that's dropping next Monday! Follow us on Instagram for more sneak peaks of our Bows and Bobbies Spring Collaboration!

The website is up! Hope you love this little collection of bows as much as I do! Please be sure to read the descriptions for size information and shipping times and of course let me know if you have any questions. Don't forget to use FREESHIP on orders over $25 to get free shipping! Oh, and all RTS bows already have their headbands or clips attached, so I won't be able to change one for the other if one type sells out. Thank you all! [link in bio]

Rushing to get everything listed to reopen at noon PST with the new velvet bows. After seeing this gorgeous photo from @allthedaysofelliegail I decided to relist this bow from Christmas, because it's really the perfect year around bow! The Champagne Lace will also be returning as well as the four most popular colors from the Linen Collection. See you at noon!

Great news! Your preorders are ready and are shipping in a couple days. Going through orders and printing your packing slips, I'm seeing the kind notes you left about my fundraiser. Together, we were able send about $400 to Together Rising in just a few days. I'm so excited to see your girls in these special bows.

I don't usually put much weight in New Years. But, wow, 2016 was a doozy. Let's have some real talk for a minute. I started the year as a new mom, utterly obsessed and in love with my baby, but riddled with feelings of inadequacy and desperation. With only three months away from my "real" job, it sometimes seemed as though I could literally feel motherhood chipping away at me. I had really gotten into sewing while I was pregnant and I pictured myself happily sewing simple out...fits and shoes for my sweet girl. I remember a moment shortly after having her that it hit me like a freight train: I would never have the energy or passion to create again. Even if I could get her on sleep schedule (still hasn't happened, by the way) I would have to use that time cooking or cleaning if there was to be any hope of me justifying myself as a stay-at-home mom. Fast-forward a bit and a lot of reflection and epiphanies were taking place while I lay next to my baby who would only nap with me next to her. 1) The house still wasn't getting cleaned every day and everyone was surviving, albeit with mismatched socks sometimes. 2) I didn't miss working, I missed adult interaction. 3) I was spending a lot of time and money on buy-sell-trade pages for things I could make myself. One night, I pulled out my machine and some fabric scraps with the thought, "Just start with the bows." They're relatively quick and chances were I could finish at least one before she woke up for her first feeding. So, I started with a bow. And another. And another. Now, I've made close to a thousand bows and I can't begin to explain what that represents to me (but you know I'm gonna try.) To me, that represents mental fitness- that I'm no longer too daunted to do the things I love. It represents so many people who unknowingly rallied around me and nurtured my growth. It represents friendships I've made here with moms who empower one another. All of this is to say, if you're looking for change in 2017, or maybe you, too, are having a hard time getting back to yourself, start small... start with the bows, so to speak. You're worth it and you'll be surprised at how many people are just waiting to cheer you on. See more

I've hit the point where I'm super antsy to reopen the shop with a new collection. I'm so excited for spring colors and I'm also bringing in a lightweight silk velvet in a few springy colors because I still can't get enough, and everything will be ready-to-ship! I'm starting production this week on the Dusty Rose Velvet bows a lot of you preordered for my Aleppo Fundraiser, so those should be going out in the next couple weeks. If you missed out on that bow, there will be a slightly different pink velvet bow in the next collection that I think you'll also love. I think that about covers it! Is anyone else eager to get back to their routine?
