Feeling all sorts of warm and cozies from Riverside County Sheriff's Department. They made a generous donation to Michelle's Place from their Pink Patch Program. We are so grateful for their continued support each year during breast cancer awareness month. Thank you Sheriff Bianco and team!

Saturday was absolutely magical! We handed out over 130 gifts to children impacted by cancer. We couldn’t have held such a successful drive thru event without the help and generosity of our community. Thank you to Khashan Law Firm for sponsoring a movie night at home for our clients and their families, thank you to Medline Industries, Inc. Temecula for sponsoring 60 children, thank you to Temecula New Gen Rotary for sponsoring 50 children, thank you Stadium Pizza Jefferson for feeding our volunteers, and thank you to the Drifters Car Club for donating gift cards for our teens! We’d also like to thank everyone who sponsored a child or family, your donations made sure every child was taken care of and each of our volunteers who contributed to the event! Hugs and gratitude from our family to yours!

Today is for Michelle Noelani Watson... the reason behind everything we do at MP (3/9/74 - 7/23/00) __ Michelle was only 18 when she found her first breast lump. Because of how young she was, doctor's didn't see a reason to further investigate. She went undiagnosed until 23 when she was applying for the Peace Corp. It was then that she was sent to do imaging, and was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. __ Michelle visited the Breast Cancer Resource Center in S...anta Barbara while she was in treatment. It was there she felt most at home and realized a cancer resource center was exactly what Temecula needed. She spoke with her family, and they agreed they would make her wish come true. __ Michelle passed away at the young age of 26. While she is no longer physically with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who pass through our doors. When you visit the center, you feel the love and safety that meant so much to Michelle. Michelle's legacy lives on today and forever. __ See more

WAlk of Hope UPDATE Now Virtual! __ Please know how frustrated we are that we can no longer hold The Walk in-person. At this point, it is beyond our control and we have done EVERYTHING in our power to try and make this a special event for all of our survivors and thrivers. With that said, we are determined to make this Virtual Event FUN & INSPIRATIONAL for our loved ones. Help us by bonding together, and supporting our special survivors, thrivers, and angels by continuing ...to walk, from home. Our drive-thru event means you get to pick up your medal and t-shirt and wear them with pride while doing your walk! __ Nothing about this year has been easy, the least we can do as a community is celebrate this day which so many cancer patients, survivors, and thrivers need so badly. Let's not forget how resilient our loved ones have been in their cancer journeys... the least we can do is honor them the best we can <3 See more
