Pine Spring Acupuncture Clinic 22.12.2020

We performed electro acupuncture on our patient that was experiencing arm and wrist pain from excessive physical use due to her office job, her art making over the weekend, and other daily use like cooking and washing dishes. She feels much less pain after just one treatment and is able to work to her optimal ability without feeling physically depleted! Electo acupuncture moves the energy around the body to get it back into alignment, but also make sure to take a break and breathe when you need to. Work hard and REST hard. Happy Monday!

The sight of needles around your eyes may seem painful, but it’s no different from receiving acupuncture in any other part of your body. Eye acupuncture can actually be very relaxing. The needles stimulate pressure points around the eyes, increasing the blood flow that transports your body’s energy force (Qi) to those areas. Many patients use acupuncture to treat their eye conditions such as nearsightedness or farsightedness, blurry/unclear vision, dry eyes, excessive tearing, and eye pain. For severe or chronic eye conditions like glaucoma or cataracts, acupuncture is an effective adjunct therapy to any existing treatment or care prescribed by an opthalmologist.

It is getting chillier outside and we have activated the heater on our treatment beds! We make sure that our patients are comfortable and warm during their treatment sessions.

Electro-Acupuncture is the process in which an electrical current is applied to the needles once they are inserted. It further stimulates the respective acupuncture points and often can be used to replace the process of manipulating the needles during treatment. While electro-acupuncture can be applied to almost all acupuncture treatments, it has garnered especially good results regarding the treatment of neuromuscular disorders, neurological diseases, chronic pain, spasms,... and paralysis. Also, holistic sports medicine commonly uses electro-acupuncture for injuries. When combined with acupressure (the stimulation of acupuncture points by a massage with the use of the practitioner’s hands), electro-acupuncture has been proven to promote the flow of Qi and Blood, relieve pain and warm the muscles, removing any blockages or poor circulation of blood.

We value and seriously consider any patient feedback, and we have taken pride in the patient reviews that have come our way in the past few years. A patient felt satisfied enough with our care to write out this positive review, in which he references a device that we use in the office called the Electro Meridian Analysis System (EMAS) that produces a unique EMAS chart for each patient, as shown in second photo. In the core of Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are 14 Meridia...ns that runs throughout the human body. Their function is to transport the nutrients and blood and Qi, or energy force. When the channel is obstructed, illness or discomfort will start to occur such as pain, stress, lack of energy, or insomnia. By using the EMAS, we can clearly monitor which Meridians are abnormal and balanced, and use acupuncture or herbs to adjust the imbalances and get you back to your healthiestcondition! . . . #traditionalchinesemedicine #holistichealth #wellness #naturalmedicine #bayareaacupuncture #chinesemedicine #herbalmedicine #cuppingtherapy #chinesemassage #acupuncture #facialacupuncture #earacupuncture #guasha #electroacupuncture #meridiananalysis #acupressure #acupunctureworks #acupuncturist #acupuncturelife #energywork #energyhealing #energyflow #qi See more
