We received this letter today and it really touched our hearts.. As we all know this is our last month as a school and even more as a family.. This month really is going to be difficult time for the staff ,that for many has been home away from home for so many years.. But reading letters like these put it all into perspective .. We did do such a great job all these years and as we go off to different paths the amazing staff will continue to touch families lives as expressed i...n this letter.. In honor of teacher appreciation week, I figured it was time to write the note that I’ve been meaning to write for months... I want to express to all the teachers, administrators, coaches and staff at Pinecrest just how much you’ve meant to our girls for the past five years. It’s been nothing short of amazing to see the energy and effort you’ve put into making Pinecrest a community where kids are cared for, challenged, loved on, and raised up to be future leaders. When Evie first started preschool, she was still biting other kids. (She’d probably be very embarrassed to know I shared that). In that first year, so many of you helped her. And she transformed into a beautiful, energetic and spunky child. And during Kinley’s first year, she was shy and quiet, and not totally sure how to make friends. But you drew her little personality out, and challenged her in ways that were perfect for exactly who she is. I couldn’t imagine this happening in the same way at a different school. If our girls didn’t have the personal attention and care they received at Pinecrest, they wouldn’t be the strong, intelligent, joy-filled kids they are today. To everyone how has been a part of our children’s lives - and the lives of hundreds of other kids and families - we can’t say thank you enough. Your care will continue to leave a legacy for years to come. Thank you. For all the science experiments, reports and projects, spooky spaghetti nights, olympic days, music performances, and for all the regular (and still amazing) days - thank you. Nicole and I love and appreciate you all. And Evie and Kinley will only someday know how much you’ve meant to them. Ben
