Are Christians Judged ? For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son..John 5:22 Jesus is the judge of all mankind. The unsaved, and the saved... For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad 2 Corinthians 5:10 This one is for the saved. It is also called the Bema seat of Christ. This is where your life is judged by Jesus Christ. In the modern church we usually skip past this as if it was not important. Do you really think that it is not important? This is the key to how one lives their life. What would you tell Him of how you spend the precious days that He gave you on earth? Wouldn’t it be awesome to see the time spent in Him; that this was the center of your life? That He died on a cross back then to give you His life, but instead of taking that you decided to live life for yourself. The life you lived had Jesus sitting in the passenger seat, instead of the drivers seat, I pray and beg all believers to pray about this. That He would touch you and change your life. That you would actually believe His words in scripture and give ALL of you for Him. All of it. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. Active True Faith James 1:22 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. I was listening to a Francis Chan sermon yesterday on James 1. Something he said really struck a chord with me, this is the idea of what he said (not an exact quote)... The devil loves it when you go to church and hear a really good Bible sermon that does not do anything to how you live your daily life. You walk away feeling really good about hearing the sermon. But then you do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! this is not faith, it is more some kind of eating exercise. If we would be doers of what He tells us to do, we could take over this world within one generation. But it will cost you a bit of comfort and maybe even some TV time. As I am wont to say: Why would God give you a new heart, if you are not going to use it. Be active in your faith. if you do not know what to do about this, i suggest you start reading some AW Tozer for starters, and soak yourself in the book of James.
