Oh heyyyyy finnaly out of my editing hole! And for the first time in three years I have a whole week before Christmas to relax and bask in the season This month was wild and rough to say the least with 15 photoshoots in 30 days along with my grandmother passing away it felt like I was barely staying a float for a minute there. It was such a joy and motivator though to see and hear how much you all loved you family photos and what a blessing they were to have. As stressful as this season is every year you all make me so beyond grateful for the privilege to have this job. Thankful for you and all your families

TEN DAYS till Christmas I'm 100% done shopping and my saint of a husband has wrapped almost half of our presents! (Which are all in our bedroom hiding from my tornado of a son) I'm excited to finish up editing and get to bake and watch movies in front of a fire and just do nothing in the evenings what about y'all, are you all done or still procrastinating?

Brunie Family! What can I say, other than they're wonderful! Gorgeous girls, big laughs and the most golden light I had all season long Erica killed it with the outfits and sent some insta reel videos for prompts she wanted to try! Even their pre-ten said she had fun so I guess you could say I did a pretty dope job

Let's talk photos with kids! I'll try to keep this short and sweet since Lord knows us parents are always short on time Practice practice practice! The more kids are familiar with saying cheese the more inclined they'll be to do it photoshoot day! A toy camera can even turn it into a fun game! Say "eye/I". Cheese can lead to some MAJOR grimaces. Eye is a more natural mouth shape to a smile! Pointing at your eye behind the camera so they'll look at it is a plus since tha...t's where the camera is! Take a break! Photos can be exhausting for kids. Bringing a toy for them to play with half way through when we grab couple photos gives them some time to relax especially for more introverted kids! Get moving! This boy was a BIG fall mood today! I am VERYYYY basic and fall is for sure my favorite time of year However I have a serious question to ask. What is the most fall food: pies or soups? I might be on the soupy minority However if left alone I'm pretty sure I could eat a whole Costco pumpkin pie

Did you use real or fake flowers at your wedding? Real have the plus of looking and smelling stunning but fake are much easier to plan ahead of time, can still look really nice and you get to keep it forever! I did fake at my wedding to simplify things but MAN did @sweetrootsfloral do the most STUNNING job and give me major flower envy I love getting to meet sweet new vendor friends even if only for a brief few minutes! They farm grow all their flowers for their bouquets and were able to do all the floral last minute for this wedding while do a breathtaking job at it (wait till you see the table scape). Ok well props to you if you made it this far
