For those of our customers who love Mjadara this is by one of our favorite chefs. We make it slightly different. We use water instead of chicken stock, cumin salt and pepper. Trial Downtown Lighthouse Avenue Street Closure. Beginning Friday, June 12th, the City will be shutting down both sides of Lighthouse Avenue to vehicular traffic between 16th and Forest, and between Grand and Fountain. This 30-day trial is being undertaken in an effort to accomodate the Covid-19 Shelter in Place requirements that limit restaurant dining, and to provide an opportunity for a safe, fun, outdoor gathering space featuring food and wares from businesses througho...ut Pacific Grove, and not just the downtown. Restaurants will feature extensive outdoor dining, retail stores will be selling goods, and amenities such as firepits, non-amplified entertainment, restrooms and hand-washing stations will be made available to the public. The City is licensing space in both blocks to interested Pacific Grove businesses (no out of town businesses or food trucks will be allowed) free of charge, dispensing of the normal public hearing requirements.

Petra’s will continue to provide to go service ONLY from June 1st - 5th. We hope to re-open safely-distanced indoor seating June 8th. See you soon!
