This is heartwarming. Makes me think of Odie, who was my patient and was a champ in cart races.

Dr. Tori Countner is now able to perform acupuncture, therapeutic laser treatments and therapeutic massage on canine and feline patients at the Pet Health Center. These modalities are especially beneficial to treat arthritis and other chronic pain conditions, as well as post-operatively and for injuries. Health alert regarding GRAIN FREE DIETS for dogs: these grain free foods have been conclusively linked to a recent wave of a specific heart problem (dilated cardiomyopathy) which in some cases have produced severe damage to the heart and even death. If you are feeding one of these diets PLEASE STOP IMMEDIATELY. Don't take the chance- for the vast majority of dogs grain free foods are no better than other pet foods. If you've been feeding grain free food and your dog is coughing, having trouble breathing or tiring faster than usual, please call for an evaluation of your pooch.

Check out Odie, a superstar athlete who competes against (and beats) able bodied dogs in races. Odie is one of our all time favorite patients. He doesn't let his disability get in the way of his enjoyment of life even for a second. Thank you for sending this, Hilda Williams.

Meet Luna, a recent adoptee from the San Diego Humane Society. She's 5 months old, very very sweet and amazingly cute. The most distinctive thing about Luna is that when she swings her ears into the "alert" position, they end up totally sideways like airplane wings. I wanted to take her home myself.......lol
