Very busy week in mortgage land! Have a client who has an offer in on a nice home and we are just waiting on the good word. Then there are the 3 clients who decided to proceed with their refinances this week. Woo Hoo! ... Like I said, it’s busy. RIVERSIDE COUNTY APPROVED FOR ACCELERATED STAGE 2.5: RESTAURANTS AND RETAIL ALLOWED TO OPEN WILDOMAR, CA Riverside County officials announced at a press confe...rence today that our County has been approved to move to Accelerated Stage 2.5 in regards to the CoronaVirus reopening plan. What this means is that destination retail (retail shopping stores) including shopping malls and swap meets as well as dine-in restaurants are now clear to open in Riverside County. Bars and gaming areas have not been approved for opening. Schools with modifications have been given the approval to open as well. The businesses were strongly encouraged to follow social distancing guidelines and to continue wearing face masks. The goal is to continue to stop the spread of the virus so that we can be cleared to move into Stage 3 which includes opening hair salons, gyms, movie theaters and churches/weddings. For more information and for continued updates, please check the State’s website at https://covid19.ca.gov/ and Riverside County’s website at https://rivcoph.org/coronavirus. Both the State and the County will be updating the guidelines for reopening. ###
