#Repost @alimetzfitness with @get_repost CLIENT PROGRESS PHOTO! (1/7/19 > 4/21/19) > So proud of her and the hard work she’s put in week after week. She comes in 5-6 days a week, sometimes for double sessions and works tirelessly to achieve her goals.... The past month especially, she’s been incredibly consistent with her diet, limiting the sugar, gluten and dairy, and increasing her servings of vegetables and fruit, plus water intake. AND she started celery juicing 2 weeks ago which has helped her bloat and inflammation immensely! She’s down not only pounds but a cumulative 5+ inches in her waist and hips, AND we’re growing that booty (2 inches since the first of the year!) (Don’t mind the slight skin peeling from a recovering sunburn ) Ain’t nothin work but WORK. Think about that The Training Habit group class member @sadiebenz1 kicking off the week with a fully body movement that emphasizes the core! Try this movement at home or in your next workout circuit. ... Tip: keep your hips stable and core engaged throughout. My challenge for you: Let’s continue the positivity from last year // Let’s replace the conversation from ‘New Year, New Me’ to: ‘ New Year, IMPROVED me!’ On Day 1, I encourage you to take a few moments, and think about resolutions and goals that make you *feel good*> what can you ADD in instead of take out? What can you focus on that will make you who you are- on this day- into a stronger, more self aware, more positive version of yourself?! Write them down somewhere you can reflect on daily, weekly or monthly (phone notes// on your mirror// reminders on your computer!) Focus on: self love, positive self talk, reaching challenging BUT attainable and *habit-changing* goals. NOT: negative, out-of-reach, unattainable goals you lose sight off 1 month in. Refocus your energy from ‘new year new me’ to ‘new year, improved me!’ Or ‘new year, true me!’ Happy new year to all!!! See more
