Come join our efforts to preserve the rich history of the city of Perris and its surrounding valley at the Perris Valley Museum Historical Archives! We have opportunities to match everyone's skill sets, from working hands-on with our precious historical photographs and documents to Web-based applications. On display at our facility through the end of September is this special painting, an abstract artwork created by our archivist Christina Perris. Completed in the harrowing days following the tragedy of the attacks of September 11, 2001, the painting captures what was lost - and found - in some of the darkest hours of our country's history. In honor of the victims and survivors of the attacks, the Perris Valley Museum Historical Archives encourages you to come this small piece of history captured on canvas through the end of September and remember what the painting asks us to do - "Never Forget."
