Although campus is closed, some students are facing significant hardships. Campus housing is available on a case by case basis. You can apply to live on campus (even during the closure) using the form found at linktr.ee/pepperdinesga in our bio. Please know that campus life is quite different from previous years. All meals are ‘grab & go’ and in-person gatherings are restricted.

Attend the University’s upcoming Medical Town Hall on Tuesday, January 19 at 5-6 PM. Learn more about how the University is responding to COVID-19 and get information from health specialists about the vaccine. . . . ... The Executive Board met with University operations to discuss several resolutions passed by the Senate last fall. They updated us on Pepperdine’s communication channels with local government and ongoing conversations. Administration continues to advocate for campus access (e.g., faculty-mentored research; use of art studios, music practice rooms, or other specialized learning spaces; use of outdoor areas) and is communicating the need for these spaces to appropriate government officials. We appreciate Phil Phillips, Nicolle Taylor, Camila Bonavia, and Jon Weber for their time and service to us students. The four each expressed how deeply they miss us all and look forward to being on-campus again as soon as possible.

Today we had a very thoughtful discussion with the Dean's office for the 2030 Seaver Strategic Plan. We emphasized the plan's goal to diversify the student body, staff, and curriculum; our members gave explicit ideas and feedback to consider when materializing such goals. We underscored SGA's concern about annual tuition increases and affordability.... This Friday (11/13) at 2PM all students are invited to share their thoughts and comments in a Zoom with Dean Feltner.
