Pepperdine Ambassadors Council

The Care PACkages Fundraiser was a success!! We significantly surpassed our goal of $500 and were able to provide an awesome gift basket for each of the four COVID-19 medical facilities near Malibu as a thank you for their hard work and service to the community.

To kick off PAC 32 tabling week, meet Millie! Millie serves as one of PAC 31’s Administrative Liaisons and has been a member of the council since last year. Thank you to everyone that came out to Convosation on Tuesday night with Gash & Dewalt! We’re grateful that they were both able to find time to answer some questions from our students and share more about their background and experiences in Africa. We appreciate your vulnerability and openness And a huge shoutout to our chaplain, Maddy Jones, for planning it all!!

PAC #memberspotlight Cindy Kim is a senior from Hacienda Heights, California pursuing a degree in Interpersonal Communication. She is currently a Lead Intern for the Seaver College Office of Admission and loves to meet prospective Waves through campus tours. During her time at Pepperdine, she has participated in a variety of leadership roles that have allowed her to gain a deep appreciation for her surrounding community. As a freshman, Cindy was the Freshman Class Senator f...or Student Government Association. She used this platform to not only bring representation to minority students, but also help advocate for a healthier student body--mentally, physically, and spiritually. For her sophomore year, Cindy studied abroad in Heidelberg, Germany, served as the Resident Advisor, and absolutely adored her time travelling throughout Europe. Cindy has also been involved with Housing and Residence Life as a Resident Advisor for first-year students. She spent her most recent summer with Pepperdine's Fiji Program where she learned about culturally responsive service learning. This past weekend we had the honor of attending the annual Pepperdine Associates Dinner. This event is definitely one of our favorite events of the year - from dressing #classy, meeting various members of the extended Pepperdine family, and a performance by Jennifer Hudson, this was certainly a night to remember!

#wherewednesday !!! Noel Kildiszew is a recent PAC29 alum pursuing her career in higher education at the University of Portland as an admissions counselor. She hopes to have left behind the thought that there is no singular version of a Pepperdine student. That each one of us comes to the table with a different set of experiences, passions, majors, and activities that highlight the many facets of our community.
