Low sexual desire is common in women. We are complex and our sexual function is impacted but many aspects of our lives. I am baffled that the FDA approved a self administered injectable drug that alters our brain chemistry 30-60 mins before planned sexual encounter but would not approve the use of Testosterone in women - when hormonal balance impacts more than just sex drive. Testosterone also enhances brain, bone, skin, well being, and sexual function. I’m still baffled and disappointed at the approach to Women’s Health and Sexual Wellness.
