Dear Pegasus Friends & Families, As you are aware, COVID spread is at another unfortunate all-time high all across our country. Due to this Pegasus is extending our holiday break an additional three weeks. All Pegasus programming will resume Thursday February 3rd. To-date Pegasus has had zero incidents or reports of COVID infections. Our goal is to maintain this result, as well take prudent action within the communities we serve to slow the spread of COVID. We are hopeful... that our mitigation measures (i.e. masks, sanitizing, social distancing, etc.) will continue to help our population remain healthy. We remind everyone in our community to: Remain home and get tested if you have any symptoms. Continue to wear appropriate masks at all times while on campus. Our Priorities: We have prioritized in-person programming at Pegasus that is consistent with our mission, and what is in the best interests of our students, families, teachers and volunteers. The US Department of Education continues to reiterate that schools across the US should remain open for in-person learning for students at all levels and activities. We agree with these sentiments. We will continue to prioritize in-person learning on campus and the continuation of our programming for our students until we are unable to do so as students across the country have paid an inordinately high price over the last two years during school closures, etc.. Other Information: We will continue to closely monitor guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and will update you as new information is provided given how fluid circumstances currently are with the pandemic. We are grateful for your continued patience, understanding, support, and flexibility as we navigate these changing times. As always, our priority is to keep Pegasus moving forward in-person on campus to support the physical, academic, social, mental, and emotional well-being of our students. To Everyone in our Pegasus Family... Sadly, but for everyone’s safety and, in compliance with The State of Californias Stay at Home order, we have suspended ALL classes at Pegasus. We had targeted Wednesday, January 5th to be our return to classes after the Holiday break. As we move closer to this date, and, as more information becomes available, we will update everyone as to whether or not we will be back on that day.... These are unprecedented times. Everyone at Pegasus would like to wish our riders, their families and all of our volunteers a safe and Happy Holiday. Let’s all remember that in the end, Family is all that matters, please look after and take care of one another. We WILL rise above this, TOGETHER.

To all Volunteers, Unfortunately, due to current COVID-19 restrictions, we have to postpone this year’s Volunteer Orientation. This decision was not made lightly, but after consulting multiple local, county and state resources, there’s just no way to do it in a way that is BOTH safe and informative under the current guidelines handed down by various government agencies. Thank you to all who signed up for orientation, we will be contacting everyone via phone over the next fe...w days to go over possible opportunities as we hope to be back putting smiles on faces as soon as possible. Take care of yourselves, as always, we’ll get through this, together.
