Following the guidance from the CDC, and the growing escalation of the Covid-19 outbreak around us we have decided to postpone our Matança. We are heartbroken and know this is a very challenging time for everyone, and appreciate your understanding and support. We must follow the edict of the County of Santa Clara and hope to see you soon.

Get ready for another Salsa Saturday at Portuguese Band of San Jose!! Los Plebes will be back this Saturday, October 10th starting at 1pm serving up delicious t...acos, burritos, quesadillas, and ceviche de camaron! They were a hit last time we had them at PBSJ. We will also have the bar open serving up cold drinks as well as outdoor seating to enjoy your foods and drinks. **Please note that Los Plebes only takes cash or Venmo for payment.** Please make sure you have your mask as we are following the Social Distancing Protocols, so please wear your mask when ordering food or ordering your drinks as well as when entering our building to use the restrooms.

Portuguese Band of San Jose is hosting an event this Friday, October 9th starting at 6:00 PM in collaboration with gordoz_tacos! Gordoz specializes in Birria de... Res, which is a slow cooked shredded beef that is served with consome (broth from the cooking process). They also offer amazing Quesabirria tacos served with the consome! If you have never experienced Birria or Birria tacos before, you are missing out!! They are amazing! We will have outdoor seating and the bar will be serving ice cold drinks and some drink specials!
