Oh how I would of loved to take this after picture at least by 5pm because at 5:45 it already looked as if it was 7pm before the time change! On her color refresh, we switched up her look on top with lots of baby lights on top to give an all over cast of blonde when it fades out and not as much depth.

Another transformation on my daughter Bailee. She’s gone through some different colors but one thing she’s not wanting to do anymore is lift her natural hair color. After being fuchsia, we did a darker vibrant teal. Teal faded and I tried removing as much as I could but could only get what you see on the left. So instead of putting more stress in the hair and going back to a lighter brown, I did a few test stands and decided to go dimensional with Kenra Demi, 8ROM and Guy Tang Naked 9 Blush over the teal that still existed in the hair and Voilà!

Dimensional balayage’s give me heart eyes! Still one of my favorites to date! This was her second session from all over dark brown hair (some black box color on ends)

I was looking back at some hair transformations I never posted and went down memory lane thinking about the really down to earth, cool clients I’ve had the opportunity to work on. This one was one for the books! She has sooo much hair and loves reds/coppers! After meeting her and having her in my chair I truly felt this color just opened and brightened up her face and went perfect with her awesome personality!

Hope you all had safe and memorable Holidays I’ve been in PJ’s for the last couple weeks and just put make up on for the first time today! (Now I’m wanting a hair color change.. suggestions?) 2020 was rough for all of us! I’m hoping and praying for a much more positive year in 2021! I’ve been loving all the memory photos that pop up on my phone almost daily. I did this dimensional balayage about 2 years ago and never posted it. I’m happy it came up because I wasn’t feeling the holidays but this is definitely giving me the warm, cozy seasonal vibes!

It always feels good to freshen up vibrant color. Using good at-home products, color refresh maintenance and trims are pretty much mandatory when getting a fashion color to keep the integrity and shine.

Color correction on new client turned out exactly as she wanted. She’d gotten her hair done just one week prior to coming in at another salon and her results were not what she had hoped for. Six hours later we were able to achieve the ash blonde, canceling out all warm tones and lowlights to creat an all over blend.

Hope you all had an great weekend! As most of you know I’ve been blessed with a big family. I’ve never really posted them but think it’s time to slowly introduce my tribe. Meet my 3rd daughter Madison! We call her Madi. She has made me a grandma to 3 to of my grand babies. She’s make it all look too easy all the while growing and running her own business doing eyebrows, micro shading, micro blading, brow correction and perm make-up. They all amaze me with their talents. As any mom would say. I’ll be sharing more soon.

When you have an amazing client whom you can list a ton of great qualities but remember.. wait, its a hair post! I always love a multi-dimensional blend of warm and cool tones on a balayage. I see her about every 6 months. Carrie, thank you for your loyalty and continuing to make that long drive to see me! Its always something to look forward to! @abombshell

Not all transformations require lightening the hair first! Subtle color change on virgin regrowth with permanent color was the way to go for color longevity and low maintenance. Minimal placement of highlights and lowlights were a perfect enhancement for this eye-popping color. I loved her fall transformation!
