Warning! Do NOT use Trinity Relocation Services (Florida based) or Cross Country Movers (California Based)! They just scammed one of my sellers out of thousands... of dollars that they had to pay to complete their out-of-state move! What they learned: 1. Never pay a deposit up front. 2. Read the entire contract, not just the highlighted parts they point out - no matter how nice they are! 3. If they only accept cash, that's a big red flag! This scam company's contract says they can keep your deposit if you write a bad online review (which is why they have a lot of good FAKE reviews) AND that they can estimate the weight of your items instead of weighing it on scales which "allowed" them to charge more than double the amount they said they'd charge up front. My sellers moved half of their items to a UHaul to get back to the initial bid, but they wouldn't decrease it at all. The higher charge was their plan all along. They will fight it once they get their items moved into their new house, but had to pay now to avoid delaying delivery of their home to their buyers. Sooo sad! Please warn others so they don't fall victim to these terrible companies. See more
