PASS at Pasadena City College

Thank you to all of the students who attended this year's Fall Welcome Workshop. We are off to a great start this semester!

PASS partnered with Santiago Bernal from UCLA’s Center for Community College Partnerships to coordinate a field trip for PASS participants. The visit included a campus tour, admissions presentation and student panel which consisted of PCC alum. PASS students were engaged and excited to be part of this opportunity.

Do you have a quick question for a counselor? The PASS MEET AND EAT was created to offer you the opportunity to come ask a counselor a question that will help you with your educational journey here at PCC. Bring your own lunch. If it’s a complicated response, we will schedule you a 30 minute counseling appointment with a PASS counselor.

PASS participants will be receiving priority registration for the 2018 winter session. This service is a great benefit for PASS students in an effort to assist you with your goals of earning degree/certificate and transferring to a four year institution. Please check your Lancerpoint account to ensure that you have the November 8, 2017 priority registration date.

PASS went on two field trips these last couple of weeks, CSU Northridge and UC Riverside, to assist program participants in making transfer decisions. Students had many questions for campus representatives which proves that they are thinking ahead about the campuses they are considering for transfer.

PASS would like to wish all of our graduates luck as you begin at your new transfer school this semester We know you are going to be great & remember PASS is here for you if you have any questions. Class of 2017!!!!

HAPPY FALL SEMESTER!!! FALL COUNSELING HOURS Monday, 8:00 4:30 PM... Tuesday, 8:30 2:30PM Friday, 8:00 11:30 and 2:00 - 4:30 PM FALL TUTORING Tutoring will begin start in a couple of weeks. STUDY LAB PASS has a Study Lab where you can study and complete homework. LAPTOPS PASS has laptops for students to check out and use in the Study Lab.

This past Monday, 87 student attended the PASS Fall Welcome Workshops. This was a great start to the new semester. Congratulations to the raffle winners and thank you to our campus/community partners for the donations.

PASS students enjoying a visit to CSULB this spring semester. Its a great campus located in a beautiful city.

Congratulations to those students who signed up to participate in the LIVING YOUR BEST LIFE 3 day workshop series. Student are participating in an intimate setting created to teach them to stay motivated and accomplish their goals. They are developing vision boards, creating S.M.A.R.T. goals and learning strategies to excel in higher education.
