There will be a taco truck this year at the end. ... https://www.facebook.com/RideOfSilencePasadena/ On Wednesday May 16th, 2018, 465 Ride of Silence events will take place around the world in 50 states, 48 countries and all 7 continents in honor of cyclists killed in fatal traffic collisions on our streets. To join the ride Wednesday 5/16 in Pasadena, * meet at the southwest corner of the Rose Bowl (Lot K) at 6pm, * the ride will depart at 7pm (sharp). We will ride with a police motor escort through Old Town and stop at Pasadena City Hall for a moment of silence, before heading back to the Rose Bowl to enjoy friendship, support, and a taco truck to feed the riders. WHAT: Pasadena Ride of Silence WHEN: Wednesday May 16th WHERE: Meet at Rose Bowl Lot K (SW corner) WHO: All are welcome! - Helmets are required - Please remain silent during the ride The Ride of Silence is an annual event organized by local volunteers every year during Bike Month to remember, celebrate, and honor the lives of cyclists who have been injured or killed while riding on our public roads. The ride is a reminder to motorists, law enforcement, elected officials, and the public that cyclists have a legal right to public roadways. Join us in calling for action, and learn about local efforts to help prevent more deaths.
