Athletes: The health and safety of our patrons, staff, and volunteers is our top priority. The event is scheduled as planned and our team is working with local authorities to ensure all event safety measures are met. This includes taking extra precautions regarding the Coronavirus. The Rose Bowl Aquatics Center regularly sanitizes areas where appropriate to minimize transmission of germs and viruses. They have continued to do so with vigilance and increased frequency. The R...BAC also employs a cleaning service to disinfect the locker rooms, family changing rooms and lobby area every evening. The pools are chemically treated with chlorine and muriatic acid, which is accepted as the most effective way to sanitize pool water. For the health and safety of yourself and others, the most important thing we can all do is to practice proper hygiene and stay home if ill. - Stay home even if you have mild symptoms or have a fever over 100F. - Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 30 seconds. - Cover your mouth and face with a tissue when you cough or sneeze and then throw away the tissue. - Sanitize regularly used surfaces. We will continue to work closely with the local health department to monitor the situation. If there are any changes or updates, our team will email participants and post to the event website and social media channels.
