What a wonderful friendship that blossomed through the foundation between Pasadena Sister Cities and Freundeskreis Ludwigshafen-Pasadena Pasadena, California.

A post from the Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles. We are very honored to have been part of this relationship with our sister city in Mishima since 1957.

The Pasadena Buddhist Temple will be putting on the Obon Festival this weekend. The Pasadena-Mishima Friendship Summer Youth Program will be selling BBQ Corn to help raise funds for gifts at our summer exchange program. Hope to see everyone there!

+English version below+ Am 14.07. hat sich der Freundeskreis Ludwigshafen-Pasadena im Rahmen eines Farewell-Dinners in der Gaststätte Große Blies von seinen bei...den diesjährigen Praktikanten aus Pasadena, California, Andrew und Ellis, verabschiedet, die seit Anfang Juni in Ludwigshafen, Stadt am Rhein und Umgebung in Gastfamilien lebten und Praktika bei Kultur Rhein-Neckar und der Stadtbibliothek Ludwigshafen (und im Ideenw3rk Ludwigshafen) Praktika absolvierten. Wir wünschen den beiden eine gute Heimreise und hoffen, dass sie eine spannende, unvergessliche Zeit in Deutschland hatten und es ein baldiges Wiedersehen gibt. On July, 14th at Gaststätte Große Blies Freundeskreis Ludwigshafen-Pasadena e.V. said goodbye to this year's Pasadena, California volunteer workers, Andrew and Ellis, who have lived with host families in Ludwigshafen, Stadt am Rhein and the surrounding area and have interned with Kultur Rhein-Neckar and Stadtbibliothek Ludwigshafen since the beginning of June. We wish both of them a safe trip home and hope that they had an exciting, unforgettable time in Germany. We hope to see you again soon.
