Our friends over at the High Desert Modular Railroad club will be having a train show in conjuction with the Eastern Sierra Model Railroad society in Ridgecrest California. We hope everyone is well. Even with covid going on our signal crew has managed to continue installing signals. All of them work just like in the real world. Even our semaphores work. Continued work is going on to finish the implementation of LCC (Layout Command Control) be sure to stay tuned for some video and other updates. Until then, be safe and be well.

Good Morning from the Tehachapi Loop! If headed out, be aware traffic is slowed down due to maintenance of way work. They are replacing old wood ties with new concrete ties from Tehachapi to Keene. The museum in town is also closed until the California covid lift. If looking for exciting rail Fanning, drive north on the 99 before Pixley at Western Milling to watch some old engines work long feed trains.

We often get asked about scales in model railroading. We being Ho scale which is a very popular scale we thought we would share here the many scales of model railroading.
