Happy Friday! Here are some updates and reminders for our students. HAVING PROBLEMS WITH YOUR CHROMEBOOK? If you are having problems with your chromebook, it could be because your chromebook needs to be updated. Remember to sign out of your chromebook and turn it off at least once every day. Make sure your chomebook is plugged in when you turn it off. This way it will automatically install any updates that are needed. SCHOOL PICTURE DAYS: Our Fall picture days (for students ...who are attending classes at school) will be Wednesday, November 4th and Thursday, November 5th. Students will be photographed on the day they have P.E. We are looking for 1-2 parent volunteers to help out on November 4 and/or November 5 from 8:00am to 1:30pm. Volunteers will be required to wear a mask while they are at Parsons. Parents who are interested in helping out can contact Mrs. McKenzie in our school office Phone #530-224-4190. Volunteers will receive a complimentary picture package for their child (selected by Lifetouch). A separate picture day will be scheduled for our Distance Learners. SCHOOL ARRIVAL TIME: Remember, students cannot be at school before 8:15a.m. unless you have zero period. If you are in Zero Period - M&M’s, Jazz Band or EL - the earliest you are allowed on school campus is 7:40a.m. Our gates will remain locked every morning until this time. As soon as you arrive at school, you need to report to your cohort classroom. Have a great weekend and we will see you Monday!

If you ordered a yearbook last year, and you are no longer at Parsons, you can come to the office and pick it up.

CURRENT PARSONS 7th & 8th GRADERS WHO PRE-ORDERED A YEARBOOK: Will receive their yearbooks tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 25) during 4th period class. *Please remind students to write their name inside their yearbook with ink.* CURRENT PARSONS STUDENTS WHO DID NOT PRE-ORDER A YEARBOOK: Can purchase a yearbook in the office starting Friday, October 2nd for $40 - cash only. ... LAST YEAR'S 8TH GRADERS WHO PRE-ORDERED A YEARBOOK: We will hold a "drive through and pick up your yearbook" event on Wednesday, Sept. 30th from 2:30 to 3:30pm on the East side of Parsons by the band room. LAST YEAR'S 8TH GRADERS WHO DID NOT PRE-ORDER A YEARBOOK: Can purchase a yearbook in our office starting Thursday, October 1st for $40 - cash only.
