This week, facilitator teams from Lancaster District went through our PRO series professional development training, ProLeadership. They’ve gained confidence in their presenting skills, discovered their adult learning styles and learned tools to help prepare, practice and present powerful workshops! One of the activities we do in this training is to practice speaking in front of our peers and present on topics relevant to our own lives. We introduce this exercise by showing an example of a dull presenter.... Trivia! ...Can anyone name this movie??

Happy New Year to our favorite families! We know the start of this new year may be tough already and we want to remind you of a few things.... - even if you aren't back into a routine with your kids - even if you're still living off of Holiday treats... - even if you're sick or tired - even if you haven't reestablished your homeschool parent schedule - even if you don't quite know how to talk with your kids about current events . you are still a GREAT parent. You are doing your best. You are doing an awesome job. Look to your Parenting Partners tools and your parent community for some support. You are not alone. Here's to a year of growing together!

These parents had children literally climbing on them while fully participating in the training- true heroes in action! We can’t wait to witness the impact these teams will make in the Spring
