UPDATE: picking up these beauties this morning in Williams, to get them to their first adoptive home and farm. the best of luck to all concerned . H...ello everyone! can we talk about these 3 fabulous Great Pyrenees who need a home? this is Lae, Tongue & Coda, 3 fully trained livestock guardian dogs/companion dogs from a ranch in Galt, CA, needing new homes together or separately and in any combination. Lae and Tongue are littermates, and are not yet fixed. the current owner will pay for that to be done at the preferred vet of the new owner. if rabies boosters are needed, that will be included. Coda is fixed and up to date on vax. present owner has a dozen Great Pyrs and over a thousand head of goat & cattle. in his words, these 3 are too friendly, too social. basically, they need more human attention than theyre currently getting and its causing them to roam, looking for it. (Tongue got his name that way: licking and kissing the ranchers, wanting to cuddle) make no mistake, they are stalwart livestock guardians, but would do better with smaller herds, more human interaction. currently Lae & Tongue are in the field, Coda spends more time in the barn. all 3 are between 2-3 years old. there is no rehoming fee, but we will be very selective about where they go. they are completely social and friendly to all species & genders all questions are welcome, and please folks, share this post far & wide. this must happen sooner, rather than later.
