I HAD A FREEBIRTH!!! [I gave birth alone at home, without assistance of a doctor or midwife. Just Paul and myself.] We welcomed our son Adonai Broly Gardiner i...nto the world at 8:37pm 11/17/2017 . SLIGHTLY CONTROVERSIAL TOPIC AHEAD... I've never felt so powerful, capable and alive...and simultaneously exhausted . I already know a lot of people are going to think we're crazy for our decision, but if you're willing to challenge your own beliefs and paradigm then continue reading . A hospital was out of the question for me for many different reasons. This is baby #5 for me, all of which have been natural drug free births. I delivered my first three in a hospital. My last birth was a home water birth with the assistance of a midwife we hired. Paul had jokingly said after that one, "I could've done that myself." Reason being, Aadhya (our daughter) came so fast that the team barely made it in time and we pretty much did do the delivery ourselves. . At that time I thought no way, that's crazy, you have to have a "professional" present to help you give birth. Anyhow...A couple months ago I remembered his crazy remark one night and so I began researching Unassisted Childbirth. Turns out it is more popular and common than you may realize as many women are beginning to learn of the benefits of birthing alone. . I knew within about an hour of reading and exploring this topic that this is what we were supposed to do. I continued on, doing all the necessary research I needed to know to make the final decision and be 1000% confident with it so I could tell Paul that this is what we were going to do. . Of course he was supportive and completely on board with the idea. The truth is, for a perfectly healthy woman and baby, birthing in a hospital puts you at greater risk for complications, a cesarean, and possible injury or death, than giving birth at home. . And from what I've learned now, even having anyone other than your own spouse or family present can bring its own complications and unnecessary interventions. This is a topic I could probably host an all day seminar on. . Is Unassisted birth for everyone? Absolutely not. I'm not saying that it is. It could be, but with all the limiting beliefs, paradigms and programming in place by society and "medical professionals" (business owners ) there's been a lot of fear and doubts instilled into women's minds of what their bodies are capable of. . As women, our confidence to give birth naturally and without intervention has been robbed from us by establishments that seek to profit and make a business out of birthing. Childbirth is treated in our culture as if it's a medical emergency, which biologically...it isn't. Are hospitals, doctors, midwives etc. needed in some cases? Yes they are, but not in every case. And not in the case for women who decide it isn't necessary for them. . Here's a thought that pushed me over the edge of believing in my body 100%: If there is an intelligence that knows exactly what to do to form my baby from a sperm & egg, into a living, breathing, human being with a brain, organs, skeleton and everything else we come with...without any of my help or conscious input, than why wouldn't that same intelligence know exactly what to do to guide my body into birthing my baby safely? It can, it will, and it does. . As women, we are more capable than we realize. During my labor, I knew exactly how to move to help my baby get into the right position to be born safely, by intuition. I didn't have to have anyone telling me how to push or when to push him out. I removed myself from the equation and observed in amazement how my body actually pushed on its own. And when I did need to bear down, I knew it and I did. And out he came gently and peacefully. . Adonai was born safely and smoothly on 11/17/17 at 8:50 pm, in the most peaceful setting I've ever experienced thanks to Paul, the love of my life. I'm not posting this for any other reason than to share my personal experience and to empower other women who may be considering natural and intervention-free alternatives to birth. . I believe each woman should give birth exactly how she wants, without the pressure, fear tactics, outside influence or judgement of anyone. *Special thank you to Laura Shanley and her body of work, it's thanks to you I decided to continue researching

No matter how much good you aspire to do, a percentage of people will find a way to complain about you and be unpleasant... You wouldn't believe the unkind mess...ages I get in my Fb Page Inbox sometimes. . It hurts my feelings a bit at first (I am human) but don't allow it to get to me. I wake up every morning knowing who TF I am. I am clear on my purpose. I humble myself and I ask for direction and inspiration. I ask Spirit, "How can I be of service today?" Everything I create, everything that comes out of my mouth or from the tips of my fingers is inspired by the source of all that Is. None of it is mine. I am a Messenger. . So when people get offended, are rude, or nasty to me...I feel compassion for them. Because it shows the lack of love they must have in their heart, and they must be experiencing despair in their own lives. I believe that people are inherently good and that sometimes the things going on in their lives causes them to behave in irrational ways. Forgive them. . You are a mirror to everyone that comes into contact with you. You will either reflect their beauty and wholeness or reflect the lack thereof...it depends on where they are in their life & consciousness. Taking it back to Agreement #2: Take Nothing Personal.
