UPDATE FROM RUSS: Day 165 - Lynnette's Passing - Memorial & Interment Services Planning Friends, it has been confirmed that Ryan will be able to return to Fresn...o, briefly, enabling us to reschedule Lynnette's memorial service, most likely to be held FRIDAY, AUG 31 or SATURDAY, SEP 1, 2012. Due in part to travel complications of getting Ryan out of Biloxi, MS on Thursday night and back to Biloxi, MS, by the required NLT 6pm sign in, we will hold the Interment service in December immediately following Ryan's graduation and return from Shepard AFB, TX. On behalf of Ryan, mine and Lynnette's first born, and other family members, we thank you for your extreme patience and understanding regarding the necessity for the delays in scheduling and holding Lynnette's memorial service. Ryan's presence at his mother's memorial service is so important to him and to all of the family, just as we know it would be Lynnette's wish to have her boys there with the entire family and close friends. As soon as Ryan's leave paperwork os signed and his flights are booked, we will lock in the memorial and interment dates, as mentioned above. Though I will submit an obituary notice to the Fresno Bee, much like Facebook, not everyone reads or receives the newspaper, not is EVERYONE on Facebook, YET! So, please, if you know of anyone in your circle that knew and loved Lynnette as we all do, pass the word about her Memorial. Also, please send a quote with a picture of you / Lynnette or the two of you together. I would like to make these available to the boys and the family following the memorial. For our Sons Ryan & Corey, Jennifer, Baby Parsley (Arrival Date: JAN 2013), and little Anastasia, our 7 year Bichon Bolognese: Lynnette Hergenroeder Parsley, it's been 2 months and 1 week since you passed on to be with our Lord and Savior, 5 months and 2 weeks since you and I last awoke next to each other, made breakfast and coffee, shared our thoughts for the day and kissed and hugged eachother goodbye for what turned out to be my last day of work in Detroit and the first da...y of 97 days for you in hospital, fighting for your life. I will see you again Nette. I love you, Miss you and knowing what you wanted for me, if this day were to ever come, gain strength in your words, daily. Prepare the way, Nette, for one day we will all join you to celebrate life our place with Christ. Thank you for 28 years and 8 months to the day as my wife. Thank you for 35 years of friendship. UPDATE FROM RUSS: Day 153 - Lynnette's Passing - Memorial & Interment Planning Friends, Today has been a BLESSED DAY. We received a call from Ryan today, from... Lackland Air Force Base. He is doing exceptionally well and has informed me that he is determined to come home between JUL 30-AUG 2, 2012 for his mother's Memorial and Interment. There are some added hoops he and I need to jump through to make it happen for him. However, he is a Parsley and a Hergenroeder, so I know when the 'Yound Man' sets his mind to something, very rarely do things not happen in his favor. We should have formal notification early this week with dates and times. The Office of National Cemeteries has been contacted and will be contacting us to inform us of what dates/times are available that same week for Nette's Interment, which will follow her memorial service at People's Church, either the same day or the following day. Thank you, everyone, for your continued prayers of strength, courage, wisdom, healing and endurance for not only me and the boys, Ryan & Corey, but for the entire extended family. Your presence here, with your occasional voices of encouragement has been very helpful throughout the past 153 days, which represents, not only the days that have past since Lynnette was first admitted into hospital in Detroit, MI, but also the last day we awoke together, had coffee together and held eachother, fully, before she sent me on my way to work, FEB 17, 2012.
