Gilbert Mendoza, manager of Ace Hardware's Freedom location, said he enjoys helping out the community with their home projects. Mendoza, 25, has worked at Ace f...or four years, and has been manager for the past two years. "I definitely could say Ace is a great learning environment," he said. "It has allowed me to learn the best ways to complete projects at home and in general when a customer has questions." Describing himself as a "simple, down to earth guy," Mendoza said he plans on using the skills he learned at Ace in an everyday basis. "Ace has helped in my training by providing me the proper techniques and methods of any project at hand, to better serve the customer," he said. "I'm happy I can use the skills acquired to help everyone who steps in Ace."
