Library NExT, a collaboration between the San Diego Public Library, UC San Diego Extension, and Sally Ride Science, is a series of free workshops for elementary, middle, and high school students. Library NExT has recently launched NExT Level Access. Qualifying students interested in attending Library NExT programs this Fall can recei...ve a free laptop. Eligible students must qualify for free or reduced-price lunches and must not currently have access to a computer at home or their household is in need of an additional one. Library NExT, una colaboración entre la Biblioteca Pública de San Diego, UC San Diego Extension y Sally Ride Science, es una serie de talleres gratuitos para estudiantes de primaria, secundaria y preparatoria. The SD DA’s office is putting together an online class series workshop for parents and students titled Families in Motion, starting September 22. The workshop helps parents and teens improve their relationships and wellbeing. At the conclusion of the workshop, parents will be given a certificate, teens will earn community service hours and families will be connected with resources.
